Where the Stargate universe SHOULD be going...

Join Daniel Jackson on his solo adventures through the galaxy. Stories will be posted without ratings or warnings. There may be occasional bad language and probably lots of action/violence, but no sex (darn). We're going to keep it TV-rated so everyone can enjoy.

The first chapter will be posted soon, and more will be on the way.

If you loved Stargate and didn't get enough, and agree that this is truly Daniel's story more than anyone else's, then this is the place to be!

No worries, darlin'. There are at present 6 (almost 7) chapters written at first draft. Number 1 is with the Beta Goddess and should be posted soon.

Oh, I agree that Stargate should always have been Daniel's story. I'm looking forward to your entries here. I have very much enjoyed your stories in the past (and if you want to post any of the sexy ones, I'm certainly not adverse).

Congrats on the comm/story and how very appropriate. Daniel's continuing adventures are in very good hands.

I won't have a chance to read until tomorrow but I am so looking forward to it.

I hope you don't mind but from the quick glance I have a few suggestions in terms of LJ format.

If you put the chapter text behind a lj-cut it will make scrolling navigation easier and the journal itself will load faster for those on dial-up.

Also, I would suggest using the tags or memories with an eye towards when you have many, many chapters.
Putting each chapter in memories, and/or tagging each post with the chapter # (& maybe name), will make it easier for a new reader to back-track to the beginning either through the memories page or by going to the tag list.

Congrats again and hooray for all of you for having the idea, dream and following it forward.

omg........ this is such a wonderful story and i promised myself that i would wait to read it when stargate should have been on, but i couldn't.
i really love the fact that it will only be out 1 chapter at a time and on friday's so i won't miss seeing my daniel so much, and that this is about HIS journey as is should be.
i really look forward to next weeks episode : )
